Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lighting Quotations Specialist to join our team.

As a Lighting Quotations Specialist, you will be responsible for building quotes that meet customers' specifications and sending them to customers in a timely manner.

This role requires familiarity with the electrical industry, strong organizing skills and attention to detail.


Duties:

• Gather and organize quote requests for projects into our computer system.
• Review the tender drawings for all relevant information to the company's scope.
• Verify that the part numbers that quotes are being requested for are complete and accurate.
• Obtain pricing for the part numbers from the manufacturers.
• Build quotes using the company's internal software, and send to customers.
• Follow up with customers after quote was sent for feedback.
• Communicate with company sales staff any updates on projects during and after they've been quoted.

Required Qualifications:

• Previous experience in the electrical industry.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Familiarity with sales processes and presales activities.
• Excellent organizing skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet hard deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience within the lighting industry.
• Previous experience with OASIS or similar sales software.
