Accounts Payable Clerk
As a member of the Priority's accounting team, this position will be responsible to support the accounting team by compiling, reviewing, and completing various tasks, reports, and assist with other administrative duties.
Duties:
- Works effectively in a team environment.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
- Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
- Accounts payable management, including vendor account setup, statement reconciliation, and processing payments to vendors.
- Assist with monthend closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Prepare and perform cheque runs.
- Assist in general office management, administration, answering phones.
Requirements:
- 2+ years' experience in a fastpaced accounting or bookkeeping role.
- Proficiency in technical accounting tasks, such as general ledger reconciliation and journal entries.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, and Outlook and ability to learn ERP software.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team setting.
Salary:
$44,000.00-$49,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
