Core Functions:

Assist in Quality Control testing.
Assist in Quality Group initiatives

Responsibilities:

Projects
Participate in quality related activity required to support business (e.g. Temperature Mapping Studies, Process Qualification/Validation Studies)
Provide technical expertise in problem solving.
Participate in the evaluation and writing of standard operating procedures.
QC Support
Perform laboratory testing of raw materials and finished products.
Check product quality on incoming raw materials, packaging materials, and outgoing finished products as per approved specifications.
Assist with customer complaint, deviation/incident, out of specification and other product quality investigations.
Interact with other employees to resolve filling, packing and manufacturing issues.
Provide QC support for manufacturing initiatives.
Maintain cleanliness and organization with the laboratory.
General
Work in compliance with GMP, sanitization, safety, pest control, hygiene and inhouse SOPs.
Report quality concerns to supervisor
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Reports To:
QC Supervisor

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or a similar program.
Ability to design experiments, analyze and interpret data, and document conclusions
Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing is an asset.
Previous laboratory experience (e.g. HPLC, wet chemistry) is an asset.
Knowledge of GMP and quality systems is an asset.
Computer skills.
Excellent oral and written communication, organizational and decisionmaking skills

Must be willing to work labs, manufacturing areas, and office environment
