We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join our Food Production team.

As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

Inspecting incoming and outbound product to determine whether they meet quality standards.
Monitoring finished products to confirm their compliance with quality standards.
Collaborating with the Plant Manager and production leads to ensure food safety and quality goals are met.
Ensuring compliance with Food Safety, CFIA, and HACCP regulations to maintain high standards of food safety and quality.
Communicating quality standards to the QA team and other appropriate staff.
Training production employees to meet quality standards in all areas of the production process.
Attending meetings with senior management to report on and discuss quality control issues.
Developing and implementing new plans and programs, including food safety plans, sanitation plans, and other documentation as needed to improve our quality assurance systems.
Maintaining accurate documentation and performing administrative duties associated with the role.
Solving work related issues as they arise.
Other duties as required

Experience/Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in food quality assurance
Bachelor's degree in food science or related field
Ability to manage a busy work schedule with a variety of tasks and deadlines.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Strong understanding of food safety regulations and expectations for food production operations
Ability to deal with complex issues.

Pay:
$65,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
