- Located on the traditional, ancestral and unceded lands of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations, West Vancouver is a vibrant community on the North Shore and home to parks, beaches, and to sports, recreation and arts amenities. - The Community Services Department has an opening for a temporary part time Aquatic Leader I position. Reporting to the Aquatic Program Coordinators, this position provides leadership to aquatic staff and assists with facility operations.
- This position is responsible for:
- supervising, developing aquatic staff and facilitating with staff training;
- providing administrative assistance and handling customer service inquiries; and,
- assuming responsibility for facility operations as required.
Required Licenses and Current Certificates include: LSS Swim Instructor; National Lifeguard - Pool; Standard First Aid, CPR Level C, and AED.
Position Status:
Union (WVMEA) - Temporary Part-Time
Hours of Work:
30 hours per week (hours and days of work may vary). Position term is ideally between June 15 to September 2, 2024.
Rate of Pay:
$29.20 per hour plus 14% in lieu of benefits
Closing Date:
