What You'll Like About This Job

This journeyperson electrician position at CNRL Horizon supports preventative maintenance for HVAC systems on a 7/7 day shift rotation. Duties include inspection, diagnostics, and servicing of motors, VFDs, sensors, and control systems.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of experience, are certified in Alberta or hold Red Seal credentials, and are safety-focused team players with strong technical aptitude.

What You'll Need

Alberta Journeyman Electrician ticket or Red Seal certification
4+ years of relevant electrical experience
Valid Class 5 driver's license
CSO and WHMIS 2015
Physically able to work in varying conditions
Strong communication, troubleshooting, and testing skills
Legally eligible to work in Canada

What Will Make You Stand Out

Background in automation, controls, or commissioning
Industrial or oil sands experience
Microsoft Office proficiency
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical codes
