Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Talent Acquisition:
- Administer the full talent acquisition cycle, employing creative and dynamic strategies to source talent through social media, recruitment campaigns, referrals, and networking.
- Utilize Plum, a Talent Intelligence Platform, to optimize capacity and enhance recruitment efficiency.
- Promote the company's brand through engaging recruitment initiatives and events.
Market Awareness and Forecasting:
- Stay abreast of talent market trends, competitors, and business needs to forecast available talent pools.
- Source applicants through various online channels, including LinkedIn and professional networks.
Job Description and Interview Excellence:
- Create compelling job descriptions and interview questions that align with the requirements for each position.
Equity and Compliance Focus:
- Ensure alignment with employment equity initiatives by gaining a deep understanding of the client's business.
- Provide consultative expertise and ensure compliance with legislative requirements, policies, collective agreement provisions, and standard operating procedures related to recruitment activities.
Recordkeeping and Reporting:
- Maintain meticulous records of all recruitment materials, including interview notes and paperwork, to share with key stakeholders.
Team Collaboration:
- Facilitate a cohesive and knowledgeable human resources team by proactively resolving complex issues and exchanging information with colleagues.
- Provide support during heavy workload periods and vacation, ensuring continuous workflow.
Qualifications:
- Proven expertise in strategic talent acquisition, utilizing creative sourcing methods and leveraging a variety of platforms for optimal recruitment efficiency.
- Indepth knowledge of the talent market, competitors, and business needs, allowing for precise forecasting of available talent pools.
- Strong compliance focus, ensuring alignment with employment equity initiatives and expertise in navigating legislative requirements and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborative team player with excellent organizational skills, recordkeeping proficiency, and the ability to resolve complex issues in a dynamic human resources environment.
This is a hybrid role with travel throughout Canada and parts of the United States to facilitate interviews, recruitment campaigns, and other such on-site tasks.
