Job Overview:

Responsibilities:

Plan, schedule, and coordinate construction activities from start to finish
Supervise and manage all onsite personnel, including subcontractors and vendors
Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to project timelines
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve any design or construction issues
Review and interpret construction plans, schematics, and blueprints
Oversee budgeting and cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle
Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure project deliverables meet specifications
Utilize construction management software (e.g., AutoCAD) to track project progress and communicate updates

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry
Civil Engineering degree OR Certified Engineering Technologist
Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise a diverse team
Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
Proficient in budgeting and construction estimating
Familiarity with quality control procedures and standards
Proficiency in using construction management software (e.g., AutoCAD, Bid2Win)
