As a Structural Exterminator, you will be responsible for inspecting, identifying, and effectively eliminating pests from residential and commercial properties, ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients.

Your expertise in pest control, structural assessments, and knowledge of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) principles will be instrumental in maintaining our company's reputation for excellence in pest control services.

Responsibilities:


Pest Identification and Inspection:

• Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and structures to identify the presence of pests, infestations, and potential entry points.
• Accurately determine the type and extent of pest infestations, and document your findings for further analysis and treatment planning.

Treatment Planning and Execution:

• Develop customized and effective pest control strategies based on Integrated Pest Management (IPM) principles, considering factors such as pest species, severity, and property type.
• Safely and efficiently execute pest control treatments, employing a combination of chemical and nonchemical methods to exterminate pests and prevent future infestations.

Structural Assessments:

• Assess the structural integrity of buildings and properties to identify and address any vulnerabilities or conducive conditions that may attract pests.
• Advise clients on necessary repairs or modifications to prevent future pest infestations.

Customer Interaction:

• Communicate professionally and empathetically with clients, addressing their concerns, explaining treatment plans, and providing tips for pest prevention.
• Offer exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction throughout the extermination process.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of pest control activities, including treatments performed, pesticides used, and recommendations given to clients.
• Prepare and submit reports to management, detailing pest control activities, findings, and recommendations.

Compliance and Safety:

• Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and safety protocols governing pest control practices in Ontario.
• Stay uptodate with industry developments, best practices, and new pest control technologies.

Requirements:


Licensing and Certification:

• Possess a valid Structural Exterminator License issued by the appropriate regulatory body in Ontario, such as the Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA).
• Maintain necessary certifications and attend continuing education programs to stay current with pest control practices and regulations.

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of practical experience as a licensed Structural Exterminator or in a related field of pest control.
• Demonstrated expertise in identifying and exterminating various pests commonly found in Ontario.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong knowledge of pest behavior, biology, and control methods.
• Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Physical fitness and ability to perform tasks that may involve lifting, climbing, and accessing confined spaces during pest inspections and treatments.

Communication:

• Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.

Driver's License:

• Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to various job sites.

Salary:
$40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
