Job Overview:
WE are looking for someone to join the team. Must have knowledge of the renovation industry in Canada. We are looking for an energetic person that can work a high pace and work indendently.


Duties:


  • Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates
  • Collaborate with employees, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes
  • Utilize construction management software and tools such as PlanSwift, AutoCad Microsoft Project and other relevant software programs
  • Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather data for accurate estimations
  • Prepare detailed takeoffs and material quantities based on project plans
  • Research and analyze costs of materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services
  • Create comprehensive bid proposals that include cost breakdowns, timelines, and project deliverables
  • Review bid documents for accuracy and completeness before submission
  • Participate in bid meetings and negotiations with clients and stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Experience in the renovation sector.
  • Proven experience as a Project Estimator in the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of construction practices, materials, and methods (Canada Only).
  • Proficiency in using construction management software and tools such as Microsoft Project, Plan swift etc.
  • Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in estimating project costs
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders involved in the estimation process.

Salary:
$40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
