Overview
A Maintenance coordinator is responsible for the upkeep of all maintenance materials.

The coordinator updates the inventory in the inventory system to ensure parts are on hand that are used from inventory.

The maintenance coordinator must be able to communicate clearly to the vendors and staff on parts that are needed

You may also provide status reports to the maintenance manager on any areas of concern.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Manages, inventory and inventory system
  • Manages work order system and scheduling of work for staff. (PM's, work orders)
  • Orders parts, enters requests into purchasing system for approval.
  • Stocks parts
  • Follows all plant rules.
  • Attends daily shift start meeting.
  • Follows up with production on equipment availability for PM.
  • Contacts suppliers for quotes follows up on delivery of parts.
  • Enters work orders into work order system.

Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications:


  • Proficient in Excel and Word.
  • Mechanical electrical parts experience.
  • Can lift 50 lbs.
  • Worked in an industrial environment.
  • Experience with inventory systems.
  • Data entry.
  • Selfstarter and with a willingness to learn.
