Position Summary:


Support the commercial operations across the business, manage/support tender development in new geographies, create procedures, develop and implement tools and monitor and analyze the pipeline and commercial activities, in order to improve operations, increase business in existing countries and establish business in new geographies consistent with the strategic plan.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Identify, develop, and maintain an opportunity pipeline of suitable projects in Ontario, vis a vis leveraged work in existing markets.
  • Develop strategic plans and relationships with our regional clients and partners.
  • Provide our clients with better clarity when it comes to understanding and navigating our organization.
  • Clearly understand the client's decisionmaking process and who the client's decisionmakers are.
  • Identify, track, report and document all opportunities that fit within the Infrastructure group Business Plan.
  • Actively facilitate BD activities, work with the Business Director.
  • Lead and/or support the team with executive level presentations/meetings to demonstrate our solutionsbased capabilities.
  • Understand client's internal business plan, capital expenditures, and growth forecasts of the client's business units by market.
  • Acquire important competitive information for improved capture plans.
  • Lead GO-NO GO' presentations
  • Maintain collaboration with appropriate management and operational leads to discuss solutions and opportunities on client's projects that we are interested in pursuing
  • Collaborate with the Bidding Team to support RFP submittal.
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:


  • Microsoft Dynamics CRM or similar tool
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel and Intermediate PowerPoint
  • Business acumen
  • Decision analysis
  • Business evaluation

Education and Experience:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or Technology related discipline(s)
  • Master's or other postgraduate degree desired but not mandatory
  • 5+ years' related work experience
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Work Conditions/Physical Demands:


  • Capable of working in a fastpaced environment.
  • The person in this role will operate in a stationary position for significant portions of the day.
  • The person in this position will occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as calculator, copy machine, and printer.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is usually in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • Travel to include overnight travel may be required on a routine basis.
