Description

In Home Assisted Living s looking for compassionate, caring and reliable individuals to join our family. As a Personal Support Worker you will support our clients in providing care. Work setting is within hospital setting, floor duty with units or bedside support-must be willing to do both.

As an In Home Assisted Living employee, you will make a difference in the lives of our clients and their families through compassionate client focused care.

How you will spend your days:
Assist patients with activities of daily living including skin, hair, and oral care along with bathing, toileting, & peri-care
Assist patients or nursing staff with mobility, ambulation, and transfers
Providing companionship and emotional support
Responding to emergency situations
Complete daily shift reports to communicate with Case Managers

Success in this role:

Personal Support Worker Certificate or Health Care Aide, DSW, Foreign Trained Nurses, Nursing Leadership, Caregiver with Life Experience
Current CPR/First Aid Certification Preferred
Valid Police Clearance Certificate/Vulnerable sector check
Valid Driver's license and access to a car, an asset
Proven experience working in hospital settings
COVID-19 vaccination required

Compensation:

$20.00 per hour

Shifts:

Weekday-days and evenings
Weekends-days and evenings
Part time
