    Description

    Responsibilities:

  • Be the main point of contact for the public.
  • Responsible for loading and unloading vehicles and passenger traffic.
  • Assist with steering, control, and maintenance of the ferry.
  • Assist with ferry tidiness and maintenance duties.
  • Patrol ferry for unusual situations, potential and safety hazards.
  • Ensure passenger compliance with regulations.
  • Perform docking procedures.
  • Conduct vehicle counts and safety equipment check.
  • Actively participate in the compliance of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Assurance System

    • Desired skills and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience as a Deckhand or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Must have a Class 5 driver's license at minimum
  • Ability to work after-hours if required
  • Good communication skills
