    The Head of Commercial Operations in Canada is responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives to drive commercial success and growth for the pharmaceutical business in Canada.

    This role involves leading cross-functional teams, managing key business relationships, and ensuring the successful launch and promotion of pharmaceutical products.


    As a key member of our Executive team and a leader of our Canadian business, you will collaboratively develop the strategic plan to enter and expand new business opportunities and manage key collaborations in support of the Company's vision and goals.


    The Head of Commercial Operations in Canada plays a crucial role in steering the pharmaceutical business towards sustainable growth by effectively navigating the complex landscape of the pharmaceutical industry.


    This leadership position has accountability for Revenue and Profitability of the business including responsibility for teams in Sales, Marketing and Customer Service.


    As the Canadian Commercial Operations leader, your responsibilities include recruiting, developing, and leading a highly skilled and dynamic team that is creating customer loyalty.

    We're looking for an ambitious leader with a strong background in Sales and Marketing to lead and mentor our growing organization.


    In this role, you will be dedicated to serving the needs of patients, healthcare professionals, and consumers, establishing and nurturing trustful relationships through our products and services.


    Role Details:
    Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies for branded products in Canada.

    Lead and support the marketing team with a deep understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and industry trends to inform strategic decision-making and drive business growth.

    Ensures the development and implementation of the overall marketing and sales strategy focusing on competitive positioning and product portfolio development.

    Sets the direction and oversees the plans and initiatives to ensure the successful launch of new products.
    Develop and implement the commercial strategy in alignment with overall business goals.
    Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and potential challenges.
    Collaborate with executive leadership to define long-term commercial objectives.
    Set goals and metrics for the Canadian teams aligned with the company strategies.
    Achieve business goals to maintain and grow sustainable core businesses.
    Collaborate with key stakeholders on pricing strategy, market access and trade accounts within the Canadian market.
    Work with key support teams to develop performance analytics, forecasting, and sales incentive compensation plans.
    Develop and manage budgets for commercial activities and be accountable for P&L for the commercial business units.

    Responsible for spearheading the marketing strategies of both prescription and non-prescription products to healthcare professionals (HCPs), ensuring a robust market presence.

    Responsible and accountable for execution of sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue targets.


    Essential Skills:
    Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
    15+ years of industry experience, with 10 years in leadership roles within the pharmaceutical industry.
    Strong understanding of pharmaceutical markets, regulations, and trends.
    Demonstrated ability to drive commercial success and achieve revenue targets.
    Excellent analytical and organizational skills with the ability to make sound business judgments.
    Resourceful, self-starter with high integrity, strong executive presence, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
    Innovative, team player with strong collaboration with internal teams.
    Solid network and reputation in pharmaceutical market.
    Proven experience developing and maintaining an effective dialog with internal audiences including Executive Management.
    Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
    Proficient in MS Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
    Strong business acumen, vision, and perspective.

    Work Environment:
    Full-time, office-based position in GTA.
    Extensive travel within and outside of Canada required.
