Brio is actively looking for a dynamic team player who will report to the Finance and Administration Department.

The
Assistant Controller will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of financial statements and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of accounting data.

They will also be responsible for the drafting and preparation of various reports to assist the Executive Management in the financial and administrative operations of the firm.

You are unique and stand out with your:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA designation
  • Minimum of 3 years experience, either in an accounting firm working with SMEs or in a similar role in a company, with experience in the consulting sector being an asset
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite, including Excel (advanced level)
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Reliability, professionalism and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to summarize and synthesize information
  • Ability to diagnose and find solutions
  • Autonomy, organizational skills and judgment
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Enjoys working as part of a team
  • Knowledge of the Avantageaccounting system (an asset)

Pursue your career withina management boutique where you will have the following responsabilities:

  • Assisting the Finance Department with the full cycle accounting supervision and review for our Canadian and French entities:
- _Oversee the preparation of monthly financial statements, validate account reconciliations, documentation, resolution of outstanding items, prepare variance analysis and explanations against budget and last year's actual_
- _Monitor financial controls, accounting procedures and the annual financial audit process_

  • Implementing continuous improvements
  • Developing, preparing weekly and monthly reports for review by Finance and Administration
  • Providing support to the accounting and administration departments for various tasks and followups
  • Participating in the continuous improvement of the company's internal controls, processes and tools related to accounting and billing
