Quality/Food Safety Supply Chain Leader

Quality and Food Safety Supervisor.

Summary
This role is responsible for the execution of quality programs to drive accountability and visibility at the shift level.

You will work closely with the manufacturing teams and will be responsible for verification of quality and regulatory documentation and processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Primary point of contact on quality and food safety crisis management and communication
  • Lead, coach, and train front line technicians to ensure understanding of quality systems and compliance
  • Facilitate smooth transition on new product rollouts
  • Facilitate initiatives to reduce consumer complaints
  • Lead quality related investigations, root cause analysis and corrective action processes
  • Support technical development for new and existing processes & products by providing input and guidance to business units to ensure all quality aspects are evaluated & solutions are implemented
  • Facilitate 100% departmental compliance to PepsiCo Quality Systems, including the review and maintenance of key quality and food safety documents
  • Manage compliance to GMP standards
  • Ownership of quality and food safety programs, audits, and regulatory requirements
  • Leadership of Lab Technician, and Sanitation Team

Qualifications:

Key Qualifications & Requirements

  • Post Secondary Education or equivalent experience is required
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and leading for results through others
  • Proficient with Quality and Food Safety programs
  • Strong communication skills
  • High degree of organizational skills and attention to detail
