Description

Under the supervision of the Services Manager, the Buyer is responsible for purchasing various materials and, in some cases, negotiating agreements with suppliers.

He/she is responsible for maintaining adequate inventory levels.

More specifically:

Participates in supplier selection.
Tenders and negotiates products and mandates entrusted to it.
Develops and maintains supplier performance indicators.
Ensures that M.P suppliers' regulatory documentation is kept up to date. (FDA, TDS, HACCP, SDS).
Participates in the plant's inventory reduction plan.
Education:_
Appropriate college training (administration, industrial technology. High school education may be considered with appropriate work experience.
Experience:_
More than 5 years in a similar position in manufacturing environment
Skills and requirements:_
Autonomous, sense of initiative and urgency
Knowledge of stock and warehouse management
Knowledge of contract negotiation
Bilingualism (essential)
Customer service oriented
