Reporting to the Manager of Property Accounting, the Property Accounting Student will prepare specified journal entries, account reconciliations, and government reporting for Canadian Retirement homes, across multiple provinces.


Be a part of a team of 5 Property Accountants and support them with various tasks and ad hoc projects as needed.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Participate in Monthend close processes and achieve established timelines
  • Reconcile specific balance sheet accounts and investigate any unusual balances, and book correcting journal entries as necessary
  • Participate in ad hoc projects as required
  • To uphold and promote the organization's values and philosophy relating particularly to ethics, morality, and integrity as set out in Revera's Code of Conduct;
  • To complete all other tasks assigned.

Required Education, Credentials and Experience:


  • Ambitious to make a difference;

  • In progress or successful completion of an Accounting Degree or Diploma;
  • Flexible and committed, with high personal standards of achievement;

  • Working knowledge in Microsoft Office 365 (intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge a benefit);
