Pharmasave #420 located in Regina-Dewdney, SK is currently accepting resumes for a part-time Pharmacy Assistant.

24 hours per week.
The usual shifts will be fall between the hours of 9:00 am to 5:30 pm from Monday to Saturday and from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm on Sunday.
Both weekday and weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities:

Performing specific dispensing functions as outlined by provincial regulations and standards of practice (under the supervision of a pharmacist).
Receive written prescriptions from customers.
Locate the medication, select the prescription container, and count/pour the medication.
Attach the label to the prescription container.
Ensure that the original container, prescription container contents, and label are checked and initialled by the pharmacist.
Regularly phone customers for unclaimed prescriptions.
Keep all areas of the pharmacy clean, neat, and professional.
Maintain adequate stock of pharmacy supplies.
Answer the pharmacy's telephone
Perform other tasks as outlined by the pharmacy manager or staff pharmacists.

Qualification & Requirements:

Preference will be given to those who have retail Pharmacy Assistant experience.
Kroll's experience is an asset.
Applicants must be motivated, possess superior organizational skills, and work well both independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Able to work independently and have experience multitasking.
Professional attitude and ability to communicate well with customers and coworkers.
