What you need:

  • Prior Dock/Warehouse experience
  • Prior experience Counter balance forklift experience is required
  • Prior experience loading/unloading commercial trailers
  • Ability to work with tools
  • Loading and Unloading Oversized equipment
  • Prior experience with WMS Systems
  • Prior experience with RF Scanner (an asset but not required)
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently with little to no supervision
  • Ability to count and perform basic math without use of calculator (inventory counts)
  • Must be physically able to sort product (palletized and non palletized)
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Strong accuracy and organizational skills (when completing documentation/paperwork)
  • Strong communication of English Language (read/write/verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong focus on safety in a fastpaced environment
  • Must be 18+ years old to qualify
  • Must have reliable transportation to work
  • Reliable, Dependable and Professional attitude

Duties:


  • Operating a Counterbalance electric forklift
  • Operating a pallet jack (as required)
  • Physically sorting/handling and building palletized products
  • Loading and Unloading Commercial Trailers (palletized and oversized items)
  • Regularly using various hand tools to load & offload oversized product
  • Organizing/Sorting and inventory of items in Warehouse
  • Stacking palletized product up to 30ft high
  • Maintain safe and hazard free work area
  • Verify and complete documentation as required
  • Report directly to Warehouse Manager daily
  • Assist with counting/maintaining inventory
  • Perform other duties as required

What we provide:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Afternoon Shift 3PMMidnight (40hr work week)
  • Wage=$24.00/hr (increases to $25.00/hr after 365 days of employment)
  • Opportunity for overtime after 44hr
  • Paid at $36/hr
  • Occasional weekend work available (voluntary basis)
  • Permanent Full-Time position
  • Biweekly pay/Direct Deposit
  • Annual Performance Reviews
  • Uniform Allowance ($100/year, after 90 days of employment)
  • Paid sick days (after 90 days of employment)
  • Benefits (after 90 days of employment/company pays 50% of monthly premium)
