Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to join our team.

The Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our office, ensuring smooth functioning and efficient workflow.

This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a strong attention to detail.


Responsibilities:


  • Work closely with the Management Team in an administrative support role
  • Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, record keeping, and report generation
  • Monitor, maintain and purchase office supplies and equipment
  • File and organize documents, both physical and electronic
  • Assist with training and development initiatives
  • Onboard new employees, including benefits, payroll and hiring packages
  • Process payroll and maintain employee records
  • Administer the Group Benefits Plan
  • Handle all WorkSafe matters
  • Assist with creating and monitoring job postings for new hires
  • Perform Bookkeeping tasks such as issuing invoices, and recording transactions in Sage 50
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and visitors
  • Other ad hoc tasks and projects as needed

Skills:


  • Strong clerical skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Experience with Sage50 or other accounting software is a plus
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping or basic accounting principles is an asset
  • Knowledge of crossborder & export shipping requirements is an asset
  • Organizational skills to maintain a wellfunctioning office environment

Note:

We offer competitive compensation based on experience and education.

This is a full-time, fully on site, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm role. Hybrid/remote work options are not available.


Salary:
$26.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
