    FUNCTION & RESPONSABILITIES

    Under the direct supervision of the Foreman; you will be required to make repairs to our housing units. More specifically you will be given work orders to complete in the area of carpentry, heating, plumbing and electrical repair. You will be responsible for applying a preventive maintenance plan for the housing units. You will be a part of a callback system to answer to emergencies in the evenings and on the weekends.

    QUALIFICATIONS

  • Northern Maintenance diploma or pertinent experience in replacement of diploma
  • Two (2) years of experience at least 2 maintenance's fields: carpentry, electricity, heating or plumber
  • REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to work in two of the three languages of the region (Inuktitut, French or English)
  • Valid driver's license required or the obligation to take a driver's course when one is offered

    NHB offers a competitive salary, northern benefits and interesting working conditions. The starting salary is $24.43 and could be more based on the evaluation of experiences related.
