Description

The City of Mission's Information Services Division is seeking an analytical problem solver with excellent communication and troubleshooting skills to join our multi-disciplinary team as a full-time User Support Technician I.

You will perform a variety of technical and operational tasks in the provision of computer support and problem resolution services.

You will be responsible for investigating and resolving software and hardware incidents; referring major and unresolved problems to appropriate senior technical staff; performing a variety of system administration tasks; assisting in the evaluation of hardware and software and installing and configuring same; and providing basic staff training.

The 2023 rate of pay for this CUPE position is $35.04 per hour plus full benefits, including pension, upon completion of probation.

We also offer a 9-day fortnight schedule (extended hours for nine days and one day off every two weeks).
