Their experienced service technicians are highly trained and able to re-certify all your pressure control equipment and provide pump sales and servicing as well as inventory and machine tubular products.

THE OPPORTUNITY


Embark on an exhilarating journey with our client's dynamic team as a Business Development Manager (BDM) in the thriving oil and gas parts manufacturing sector.

This role is a catalyst for the company's growth and profitability, requiring a strategic powerhouse thinker who excels in comprehensive market analysis and thrives on challenges.

The BDM spearheads client relationship management, ensuring satisfaction with existing clients and actively pursuing new opportunities to expand their market presence.

With responsibilities ranging from exploring new markets to analyzing financial performance and growth, the BDM plays a pivotal role in steering the company towards sustained success.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Business Development Manager you will:

  • Formulate and implement a comprehensive growth strategy aimed at maximizing financial gains and ensuring customer satisfaction in the oil and gas industry.
  • Conduct thorough research to identify new markets, customer needs, and industry trends.
  • Arrange and participate in business meetings with potential clients to promote specialized tools and equipment.
  • Build and maintain enduring relationships with both new and existing customers.
  • Prepare sales contracts, ensuring compliance with established legal rules and guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, revenue, and invoices in the accounting system.
  • Provide reliable feedback and aftersales support to enhance overall customer satisfaction.
  • Report weekly sales to the General Manager, utilizing the existing sales report template.
  • Set and achieve sales targets, focusing on revenue growth.
  • Explore new markets and business segments to expand the customer base.
  • Identify new product improvements or innovations to stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Stay abreast of industry regulations and compliance with relevant standards.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance visibility and establish a strong network.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, making strategic adjustments as needed.
  • Align business development strategies with company objectives.
  • Prepare and review proposals to ensure alignment with client requirements and company capabilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

As the Business Development Manager, you will bring:

  • BSc/BA in business administration, sales, or a relevant field.
  • 3+ years of business development experience.
  • Demonstrated success as a business development manager, sales executive, or in a relevant role preferably in the heavy industrial management sector.
  • A selfstarter mentality with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Drive to grow the business in Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
  • Experience and belief in excellent customer support.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Indepth knowledge of the heavy industrial management sectors with oil and gas familiarity a plus.
  • Proficiency in establishing, cultivating, and maintaining strong connections with clients and stakeholders.
  • Exceptional time management and planning skills.
