About this team

The Gift Card Team is responsible for delivering multi-faceted initiatives and projects to support the design, technical implementation, fulfillment, and marketing of lululemon Gift Cards and payment methods in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders.


A day in the life:


The Business Analyst, Gift Cards acts as the key conduit between the Gift Card team and the business through data analysis, gathering information, and documenting requirements.

They are responsible for delivering analytics and data dashboards across guest (customer) analytics and throughout the broader organization.

They aim to provide impactful insights around our guests/retail channels that enable the strategy and roadmap for sustained growth of the Gift Card program.


  • Development of project requirements and playing a lead role in the creation of documentation including writing high level functional and nonfunctional requirements.
  • Report on program metrics, including channel sales and redemptions.
  • Analyze campaign performance and work with analytics tools identifying optimization opportunities.
  • Research industry trends and technology for program optimization.
  • Work with Retail Operations and In Store Experience teams to create and execute Operational Readiness plans.
  • Work with store Educator teams to implement training and best practices around Gift Cards.
  • Assist in the formulation and execution of pilot projects to inform fullfleet rollout.
  • Creation of test plans, identifying campaign value and opportunities.
  • Liaise with external vendors to identify and deliver on new opportunities.

Qualifications:


  • 2+ Years experience across Retail and/or Ecomm channels.
  • Experience with database queries (SQL, Snowflake,etc.) and analysis and data visualisations creation, deployment and maintenance
  • Experience working with managing and analyzing data to create impactful insights and support business decisions
  • Expertise in data visualisation software (PowerBI) for effective data presentation.
  • Advanced Excel & Powerpoint Skills
  • Aware of the latest trends and best practices in retail, measurement, and technology.
  • Demonstrated relationship building skills to work with numerous internal/external resources and departments to reach objectives.
  • Strong and effective written and oral communication to clearly convey data findings
