You as a Construction Manager will:
- Accountable for overall project performance of one major project (>$100M in value) or a portfolio of smaller projects
- Oversee the design, construction, and warranty handover of projects to ensure projects are completed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule objectives
- Provide direction to planning, scheduling, and engineering functions as required
- Develop and maintain preconstruction schedules, baseline construction schedules, procurement schedules, commissioning and PDI schedules
- Plan, coordinate and/or supervise activities of all company personnel on assigned project(s)
- Ensure project safety standards, company, client policies and environmental programs are adhered to
Is this the right role for you?
years supervisory or equivalent experience in Residential Construction
- Engineering or Construction related degree/diploma, or an equivalent work experience
- Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods); company policies, procedures and standards, union jurisdiction, labor agreements and negotiations essential
- Excellent communication, organizational, supervisory and planning skills
