Position Overview:


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Create valuable website products and features for our online users
  • Partner with agile development teams to deliver functionality and meet business objectives
  • Develop clear user stories, detailed feature specifications, tasks, acceptance criteria and timelines
  • Lead projects as required, ensuring deliverables are brought in on time, within budget and quality targets are met
  • Develop and maintain the product backlog with a focus on business results
  • Prioritize projects and ensure the most important work is being delivered
  • Advocate for the product, offer insights, answer questions, and provide clarifications to ensure the vision is being executed
  • Act as a key contributor to product design and the overall user experience
  • Review work to ensure the development of new features meets business objectives and aligns with corporate strategy
  • Keep project within scope and identify when projects appear to be deviating from plan or objectives
  • Communicate project status updates to all key stakeholders
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with team members across the organization

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:


  • Post-Secondary Education in Business, Marketing, Design, Project Management, Business Analysis, Computing Science, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in a Product Manager, Project Owner, Marketing Lead, Digital Marketing, or Project Coordinator role
  • Knowledge of user experience (UX) best practices
  • Extensive knowledge of Agile best practices
  • Experience with backlog management, prioritization, and defect tracking
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong leadership, problem solving and decisionmaking skills
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate well with crossfunctional teams
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner (A-CSPO) certifications would be an asset
  • Experience working in an eCommerce, digital marketing, or SaaS business would be an asset
