Position Overview:

Primary Responsibilities:

Create valuable website products and features for our online users
Partner with agile development teams to deliver functionality and meet business objectives
Develop clear user stories, detailed feature specifications, tasks, acceptance criteria and timelines
Lead projects as required, ensuring deliverables are brought in on time, within budget and quality targets are met
Develop and maintain the product backlog with a focus on business results
Prioritize projects and ensure the most important work is being delivered
Advocate for the product, offer insights, answer questions, and provide clarifications to ensure the vision is being executed
Act as a key contributor to product design and the overall user experience
Review work to ensure the development of new features meets business objectives and aligns with corporate strategy
Keep project within scope and identify when projects appear to be deviating from plan or objectives
Communicate project status updates to all key stakeholders
Build and maintain effective working relationships with team members across the organization

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

Post-Secondary Education in Business, Marketing, Design, Project Management, Business Analysis, Computing Science, or a related field
2+ years of experience in a Product Manager, Project Owner, Marketing Lead, Digital Marketing, or Project Coordinator role
Knowledge of user experience (UX) best practices
Extensive knowledge of Agile best practices
Experience with backlog management, prioritization, and defect tracking
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong leadership, problem solving and decisionmaking skills
Ability to build relationships and collaborate well with crossfunctional teams
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner (A-CSPO) certifications would be an asset
Experience working in an eCommerce, digital marketing, or SaaS business would be an asset
