Job Summary


The trainer is responsible for training, monitoring, and evaluating the performance of passenger service employees while ensuring that corporate and passenger service standards and policies are followed.


Responsibilities

  • Plan and perform initial and periodic training.
  • Maintain training records of all employees in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Airport Authority.
  • Revise and update training needs.
  • Maintain and report on agreed key performance indicators (KPIs) and perform quality assurance function as required.
  • Develop training materials and establish training programs according to standards.
  • Prepare reviews and progress reports for initial and recurrent training programs.
  • Prepare and complete assessments for all passenger service employees.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the current collective agreement.
  • Ensure compliance with all Swissport's corporate and airline safety and security procedures to meet/exceed regulatory standards.
  • Maintain good relations with customers and airport authorities,
  • Provide support to frontline staff and management and resolve issues promptly.
  • Ensure workforce adherence to company policies and procedures,
  • Administer new hires, recalls, terminations, and changes via Dayforce system.
  • Conduct investigations on irregularities, accidents, complaints as per reporting requirements.
  • Ensure senior management is informed of important issues such as flight irregularity promptly.

Qualifications Required

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant training and management experience.
  • Leadership and people skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in French and English.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong ability to problem solving and decisionmaking experience.
  • Flexible to work various shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays)
  • Ability to understand and deal with conflicts.
  • Computer literate (Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Customer focus and quality awareness.
