We are looking for an Accounts Payable Associate who will play a critical part in engineering top-notch products and services in a unique industry and at a rapidly growing organization.

As the A/P Associate, you will work to ensure all Vendor reviews, research and setup are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Attention to detail is imperative when verifying all vendor information against the IRS and Canada Revenue Agency database for accurate information.
A Day in the Life- Responsible for verifying and validating documents provided by vendors- Review, verify, and update pertinent vendor information as requested- Add, update, and verify ACH/EFT information- Review vendor reports (daily & monthly) for accuracy- Review B Notice lists and contact vendors as necessary- Review tax levies that come to Element and handle accordingly- Supporting the tax filing process at the end of the yearRequirements:
- Postsecondary degree preferred; High School Diploma with a minimum of 1year related Accounts payable experience or finance/accounting related experience will be considered in lieu of
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
- Knowledge of GEAC and Service cloud is an asset
- Basic knowledge of W9's
- Strong verbal and written communication, able to communicate internally as well as externally with customers
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
