Shippers and receivers ship, receive and record movement of parts, supplies, materials equipment, and stock to and from new World technologies.

Hours of Work: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm


Responsibilities:

Shippers and receivers perform some or all the following duties

• Assemble containers, boxes and crates, record contents manually or by computer, pack goods, to be shipped and affix identifying information and shipping instructions.
• Oversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other conveyances.
• Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods.
• Unpack, code and route goods to appropriate storage areas.
• Main internal, manual, or computerized recordkeeping systems.
• May operator forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store goods.
• Process and retain a great deal of information.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Able to lift 100lbs.
• Forklift certification considered an asset.
• Knowledge of inventory management processes and best practices.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in both verbal and written communication.
• Strong continuous improvement skills.
• Proficient with Computers, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Strong teamwork skills.
