Job summary
The Ville d Iqaluit is seeking an experienced Pay Administrator to join their team.In this role they are responsible for all aspects of administration and reconciliation of the automated payroll system for non-unionized and unionized staff.
- Administer and maintain all aspects of pay for municipal staff (update employee payroll profiles, explain/interpret Municipal policies, bylaws and collective agreements to management and employees on payroll related issues);
- Sure that biweekly time sheets are summarized, submitted, authorized as required for payroll processing;
- Sure that payroll cheques and/or other payments are issued to employees;
