Blowers & Grafton (B&G) dishes up authentic street food, delivering real, honest ingredients and laid-back, East Coast hospitality.

Shack up in our cozy-cool spaces to savour passionately crafted East Coast eats and cheers to the weekend, or soak in some live music and stay a while.

B&G sources as much of its menu from out East as possible to bring you tasteful tributes, genuine flavours and all the classics From the OG Halifax Donair and Garlic Fingers, to the Mini Lobster Rolls and Chips, it's all washed down with your choice of craft beer or cocktails.

B&G was founded by a group of passionate Canadians with a bold vision:

to salute the spirited roots of Halifax with fellow Maritimers and share this beloved experience of food, drink, music and culture with the rest of Canada.


Prep Cook:


  • Demonstrate Food safe understanding and adherence
  • Work quickly and efficiently
  • Be a team player Be Helpful and compassionate to your fellow members.
  • Communicate between shifts and with managers and teammates.
  • Have a passion for great food and real ingredients
  • Be able to multitask and have the ability to prep multiple food items
  • Prep/Cook food that is genuine and of a highquality
  • Understand and follow prep charts, recipes, checklists, and other guidelines
  • Prepare various items such as vegetables, meats, sauces, dressing, garnishes, etc
  • General Kitchen Skills such as handling of cleaning chemicals and basic knowledge of equipment operation
  • Clean as you go mentality
  • Organizing work areas, stocking, checking equipment and ensuring it is in operational condition
  • Learn functions of Line Cook, and be prepared to cook online
  • Have a Passion for East Coast Hospitality

Who You Are?

Salary:
$16.00-$22.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Morning shift
  • On call
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Sherwood Park, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
