As a Sales Representative, you'll play a key role in bringing our carefully curated selection of pet-centric products to households where pets are thought of as family members.


Key Responsibilities:


Customer Engagement:


  • Develop and maintain genuine relationships with customers, understanding their petrelated needs and preferences.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their inquiries and purchases.
  • Provide expert guidance on our product offerings, ensuring customers find the perfect solutions for their furry friends.

Sales Growth:


  • Implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and areas for growth within the pet product market.

Product Knowledge:


  • Become an expert on our product line, staying updated on features, benefits, and industry trends.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the uniqueness and quality of our offerings.

Customer Education:


  • Educate customers on the importance of creating a harmonious living space for both pets and their human families.
  • Emphasize the style and contemporary têxtiles that define our commitment to quality and aesthetics.

Qualifications:


  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in a retail or pet industry setting.
  • Passion for pets and a genuine enthusiasm for improving their lives through quality products.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with customers on a personal level.
  • Resultsoriented mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to travel for business meetings & tradeshows is a must.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of technical sales is a plus
  • Ability to upsell products and services to meet sales goals
  • Proficiency in using a POS system for transactions
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and provide support as needed
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Salary:
$21.60-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week


Day range:

  • Monday to Friday

Shift:

  • 8 hour shift

Education:


  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

- sales: 1 year (preferred)

  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Vancouver, BC V5X 4K4: Relocate before starting work (required)
