Job Purpose

Someone who provides directions, instructions and guidance to a group of individuals, for the purpose of achieving a certain goal.

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for the organized running of production lines in a safe manner, at speeds set by quotation
Responsible for maintaining inventory levels on line to ensure smooth operation of production lines
Must be able to advise warehouse/line setup person in a timely manner to ensure production line does not run out of product
Responsible to run lines according to specifications supplied by customer
Responsible for completion of all quality documentations e.g. line start up, line clearance, lot code records
Responsible in organizing return of left over inventory in warehouse upon completion of job. All pallets to be wrapped, counted and tagged for return to warehouse
Responsible to record production on work orders as well as create time sheet, record hours of employees for payroll purposes
Provide any training that line workers need
Communicate clear instructions to line workers
Listen to line workers feedback
Following and enforcing to line workers all quality program rules and procedures
Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
Follow all instructions provided by Plant Supervisor and or Plant Manager
