In this position, you will:

Pioneer Change:

As our L&OD change consultant and project consultant, you'll dive into the people side of change, preparing, supporting, and equipping leaders and their teams to embrace changes across business processes, systems, technology, job roles, and organizational structures


Engage Others:

Manage internal surveys and listening strategies, analyzing feedback for actionable insights to share with leaders and their teams, and reporting on the impact of engagement efforts on hospital performance


Ensure L&OD Project Progress:

Guide and support L&OD team members in defining L&OD project scopes, assessing learning needs, defining timelines, enabling team efforts, and ensuring that projects are tenaciously completed

Lead L&OD project planning efforts and collaboratively get the work across the finish line

Manage internal employee and physician engagement surveying processes and listening strategies across the organization, and collaborate with our integrated communications team to share feedback and resulting actions


What will your typical day look like? There may be no 'typical days' in this role, but there will never be dull moment as you:

  • Act in a consulting capacity with internal partners
  • Provide daytoday change management advice and counsel to internal partners and project teams as assigned
  • Design user experiences to enable the people side of change
  • Coach leaders to proactively address sources of resistance
  • Partner with L&OD team members to conduct retrospectives that identify areas for improvement in programming, processes and outcomes
  • Develop briefing notes and business cases for senior leadership with input from key stakeholders and the L&OD Manager
  • Analyze employee/physician feedback and survey results to identify areas of actionable insights from engagement data that will be shared with leaders at all levels of the organization
  • Partner with leaders and their teams to develop sustainable strategies that increase engagement and create climates of inclusion at the unit level
  • Commit to being inperson, onsite at least three days a week at either of our two Kitchener/Waterloo campuses

Qualifications:


  • Undergraduate degree in business administration, I/O psychology, human resources, or a related discipline
  • Change Management Certification, Project Management Certification and Coaching Certification are an asset
  • Experience with psychometrics and employee listening strategies is essential
  • Strong internal consulting and organizational skills
  • Exceptional social intelligence to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • 3+ years' experience in a formal leadership role
  • 7+ years' progressive experience designing, developing and managing organizational change and engagement efforts
  • Significant exposure and applied expertise in leadership coaching, stakeholder consultation, employee engagement and feedback strategies, as well as expertise in user experience design Healthcare experience is desired
