is looking for a motivated and hard-working individual to join their outside sales with the focus in specifications and lighting controls.

The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to, collaborating in the design of lighting and lighting controls for various projects to achieve the desired outcome, assisting in writing specifications for projects, and building and maintaining relationships with various industry professionals.

A successful applicant must have prior experience and knowledge of lighting design principles and techniques, as well as lighting controls solutions.

As an Outside Sales Representative / Specifier, you will be responsible for

Outside Sales / Specifier:

Work collaboratively with engineers, architects and end users.
Implement and utilize lighting design principles and techniques within your professional practice.
Design lighting control systems for a variety of projects.
Develop and implement sales strategies to promote and sell lighting control solutions and luminaires to clients in the commercial, residential, and industrial sectors.
Generate business by building relationships in the electrical and construction industry.
Present seminars and learning opportunities about manufacture and products to clients and industry professionals.
Work closely with manufactures to foster growth.
Maintain excellent communications with the Integra team.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and market conditions.

Desired Skills and Abilities:

Work Experience:

Experience in the lighting or electrical industry is required.
Knowledge and experience surrounding lighting control systems and lighting design is required.

Education:

Lighting Certified is an asset, however not required.
Post secondary education is an asset, however not required.

Sales Experience:

Outside sales experience is required.

Additional Assets:

Understanding of the Bluebeam, AGI and AutoCAD.
Expertise in electrical building codes.
Effective communication and negotiation skills in dealing with external and internal customers.
Strong analytical, time management, and organizational skills.
Ability to work well within a team environment.
