Description

Envisio is looking for a passionate, experienced, high-performing sales and business development leader to run our Account Development Team (ADE) team to help grow our sales pipeline.


As the
Manager of the Account Development team, you will be responsible for training, mentoring, motivating, and coaching our ADE team to exceed their goals, hone their craft, and love their job.

The team will look to you to provide tactical guidance on their day-to-day activities and to support them in reaching their targets.

By working collaboratively with the marketing and the Senior Account Executive teams, you will set up the team for high performance.

You will also work closely with the VP of Marketing and Sales to report on team activities, identify areas for improvement, and find opportunities to experiment.

You'll need to be a self-starter with a passion for driving results, but you won't be working alone. You'll be supported by a close-knit, highly collaborative sales and marketing team that wants you to succeed.

As part of the marketing team, you'll work with a high-quality database, fresh content and campaigns every quarter, and regularly optimized sequences for outreach.

In this role, we'll need you to:

The Role

  • Hire, onboard and train new ADEs
  • Codevelop the playbook for outbound demand and lead generation
  • Participate in the strategic planning process as we build out territories
  • Continually develop Account Development Executives (ADEs) team through effective onboarding, coaching, and daytoday management.
  • Define and support performance metrics by which ADEs will be measured weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
  • Identify and make recommendations for process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Report regularly on the team and individual results and activities
  • Take the lead on regular 1on1s, team meetings, and huddles
  • When needed, proactively find new contacts (via websites, LinkedIn, and other tools) to add to our CRM system for outbound campaigns and maintain uptodate CRM records
  • Help to create a fun, highenergy environment where people love coming to work

Keys for Success

  • Experience with hiring, onboarding, coaching, and mentoring SDRs/BDRs/ADEs
  • Experience with crossfunctional collaboration and goal setting
  • Excellent time management skills that can be shared and spread throughout the team
  • Experience with modern outbound tools such as Outreach, Linkedin Sales Navigator, Aircall, and Salesforce
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • A love for speaking with new people
  • An organized and methodical approach
  • A professional, empathetic attitude
  • A passion for the work of the public sector
