    Position Overview


    BELFOR is looking for a highly organized and motivated Health & Safety Administrator to help drive the success of our Health & Safety program across Canada.

    This role is perfect for a strong administrator who takes initiative, enjoys working with technology and data, and is passionate about supporting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

    You will play a key role in managing training records, supporting compliance initiatives, coordinating subcontractor requirements, and helping ensure our safety program runs efficiently across the organization.

    What You'll Do:

    • Organize and maintain Health & Safety documentation
    • Manage safety training records and update internal safety databases
    • Track new hires, incidents, injuries, respirator fit testing, and certifications
    • Assist with subcontractor compliance audits and approvals
    • Support incident investigations and ensure follow-up actions are completed
    • Participate in risk assessments and corrective action tracking
    • Maintain injury statistics and analyze trends to support prevention initiatives
    • Conduct site inspections and monitor corrective actions
    • Support COR certification through internal and external audits
    • Track employee certifications and coordinate renewals with vendors
    • Perform other administrative and safety duties as assigned

    What You Bring:

    • Strong administrative and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
    • Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
    • Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety legislation
    • Professional written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
      Valid driver's license and ability to travel to sites as required

    Nice To Have:

    • Post-secondary certificate, diploma, or degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field
    • 2+ years of experience in a Health & Safety role
    • Experience in construction, restoration, or insurance industries
    • COR certification knowledge and audit experience
    • Provincial Health & Safety certification or auditor designation
    • Strong digital skill set

    Working Conditions

    • Primarily regular business hours, with occasional evening or after-hours work
    • Extended computer use and administrative tasks
    • Occasional travel for site visits and inspections
