Internal Communications Specialist (Maternity Leave Cover)

DNEG is seeking a talented and creative Internal Communications Specialist to join its global Marketing & Communications team in Montreal, Toronto, or London on a 15-month maternity leave cover contract, starting in January 2024.

As a communications expert, you will have visibility of everything that is happening across DNEG's global locations and will create stories and content to celebrate and spotlight the work of our talented teams of creatives, technicians, and producers.

You will know the right communications approach to take and will provide our crews with the right information at the right time.

You will draft and share announcements, success stories and inspiring insights into life at DNEG that
motivate your colleagues and celebrate and promote the culture of the company. You will quickly

apprehend complex and sensitive issues and know how to communicate them appropriately to our teams to ensure maximum understanding and engagement.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Communications, you will develop content independently and suggest new and innovative ways to share it with our global teams.

You will have a deep understanding of the value of the communications that you are creating, and how they will be received by the audiences that they are intended for.

The role will also require English to French translation support for day-to-day communications related to our Montreal crew.

Must Have

Extensive previous experience in internal communications, preferably within a creative industry with

an international remit

Excellent writing skills, attention to detail and organisational abilities
The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, and problemsolve independently
Experience moving seamlessly between strategy development and tactical delivery
The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a trustworthy manner
A willingness and ability to be "hands on" and to deliver to challenging timescales
A great team player with an unfailingly positive and enthusiastic approach
Previous experience dealing with both senior stakeholders and more junior colleagues

Bilingual

English and French

Nice to Have

Experience operating within brand guidelines for a large organisation
Experience in managing change communication
Exposure to visual effects, feature film or TV production
Experience in developing and delivering creative briefs to design teams
A university degree or equivalent in communications, journalism or comparable studies

DNEG est à la recherche d'un Spécialiste de la Communication Interne talentueux et créatif pour rejoindre son équipe mondiale de marketing et de communication à Montréal, Toronto et Londres dans le cadre d'un contrat de couverture de congé de maternité de 15 mois, a partir de janvier 2024.

En tant que Spécialiste de la Communication, vous aurez une visibilité de tout ce qui à passe sur les sites mondiaux de DNEG et créerez des histoires et du contenu pour célébrer et mettre en lumière le travail de nos talentueuses équipes de créatifs et de producteurs.

Vous connaîtrez la bonne approche de communication à adopter et à fournir nos équipages avec la bonne information au bon moment.

Vous rédigerez et partagerez les annonces, des histoires de réussite et des idées inspirantes sur la vie chez DNEG qui motiveront vos collègues et célébreront et promeuvent la culture de l'entreprise.

Vous appréhendez rapidement des problématiques complexes et sensibles et savez les communiquer de manière appropriée à nos équipes pour assurer une compréhension et un engagement maximum.

Rapportant au chef du marketing et de la communication, vous développerez du contenu de manière
indépendante et suggérez des façons nouvelles et innovantes de le partager avec nos équipes mondiales.

Vous aurez une compréhension approfondie de la valeur des communications que vous créez et comment ils seront reçus par les publics auxquels ils sont destinés.

Le rôle nécessitera également un soutien à la traduction de l'anglais vers le français pour la communication quotidienne liée à notre équipe de Montréal
