Description

As a railway Engineer, you will be involved in the various stages of designing, managing and implementing projects for our customers, such as CN, CP, Rio Tinto, Transport Canada and EXO.
We offer a flexible hybrid work arrangement, allowing you to work from home and from one of our offices in the metropolitan area.
Plan and carry out various studies, including technical and feasibility studies, etc.Coordinate the implementation and follow-up of projects, as well as between the various departments involved
Research, analyze, devise and recommend various technical solutions
Participate in preparing submission documents within the required deadlines, and take part in technical or coordination meetings with clients, internal and external stakeholders
Supervise work performed by contractors, monitor progress against plans and specifications, coordinate and follow-up (shop drawing, change notices, etc.)
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or an equivalent
A minimum of two years of relevant experience in road or railway engineering, as a candidate to the engineering profession (CEP) or an engineer
Experience in civil engineering in the municipal, geotechnical or hydraulic field (an asset)
Knowledge and comfort with software such as Civil 3D and/or OpenRoad
Knowledge of railway standards (an asset)
Fluency in oral and written French
