Holinova Technology Ltd., established in Vancouver, recently initiated an innovative project to develop a cloud-based platform named Digital Transformation Factory (DXF) to help domestic and global SMB clients to accelerate implementation of cloud-based ERP and extended Industrial IoT while keep the total cost of ownership (TCO) at affordable level, the technology stack extended from cloud computing to edge computing domain and consists of 20+ software products and central IDC and distributed infrastructure.

We are looking for a full-time information security specialist to join our team to lead information security initiatives and ensure our business practices meet the requirements of industrial standards.

Responsibilities

Introduce industry standards to our company and develop an information security strategic plan;
Attend cyber security related events and networking with industry peers to inform engineering and operations processes of effective risk mitigation strategies for cyberattacks;
Prepare information security policy and procedure documents, Define access privileges, control structures, resources;
Conduct quarterly based the information security auditing against IDC and single rack platforms, identify the issues and propose the solutions;
Conduct and lead incident response activities as appropriate including triage, root cause analysis, kill chain analysis, escalations, notifications, communication, resolution;
Prepare the information security requirements for each of the R&D projects and review the project plan and signoff the design documents;
Identification of tool / solution needs and requirements working with technology support teams to coordinate setup and deployment;
Monitor SLAs for responsiveness and coverage;
Update the assessment as required;
Perform vulnerability testing, risk analysis, security assessments.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in computer science, computer system engineering, software engineering or a related field preferred;
More than 5 years of related work experience in the IT field, minimum 2 years of work experience as Information Security professional;
Minimum 2 years of work experience in IT system operations field;
Information security certification is a strong asset;
Practical Knowledge of IT management and IT governance, familiar with COBIT framework;
Handy skills of Networking, Firewalls, Network security, Operating systems, Application security, Vulnerability management;
Scripting languages programming for Windows, Linux and Android is a strong asset;
Must be able to work cohesively with other team members;
Able to work with minimum supervision required;
