What We Need:


We are seeking an innovative, self-directed individual with exceptional leadership qualities to support excellence in high quality care in our Childbirth and Children's program while contributing to a strong organization-wide interprofessional practice environment.

As a Professional Practice Leader in this program, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our organization operates efficiently, delivering high-quality care and adheres to regulations and continuously improves our practices.

This leadership role is accountable for academic clinical practice in alignment to Oak Valley Health's Purpose, Values and is key in aligning work within and across clinical programs, sites and organizational practice priorities.

The role focuses on the integration of care, patient safety and quality; use of technology to enable care, teaching and research.

This position serves to develop and motivate a cohesive team and assist in identifying and supporting educational strategies to enhance staff knowledge with respect to professional practice and patient care.

Building strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, utilizing the art of influence to support necessary changes, a global perspective, political astuteness, and system thinking will contribute to the overall success of the program and as an organization ensuring a commitment to quality improvement and adherence to relevant standards.


What you bring to the role:

  • Regulated Health Professional
  • Masters degree in your health discipline, Health Leadership, Education or equivalent required
  • 5 years demonstrated leadership experience is required
  • 10 years of relevant clinical experience is required
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and motivate
  • Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal and interprofessional collaborative practice, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proven abilities in complex analysis, critical thinking and problem solving
  • Proven evidence of ongoing professional development
  • Computer proficiency, preferably in MS office and Meditech EMR
  • Demonstrated good attendance and performance record with the ability to maintain this same standard
  • Demonstrated commitment to a safe environment for staff, patients and families by working in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act and related Hospital policies

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday, Days

Please note schedules may change due to operational needs.


Compensation:


BAND H:
$ $60.59 per hour


Annual Salary:
$82, $118,150.50 per year
