Description

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and preparing of job sites
  • Loading and unloading materials
  • Assist in completing projects involving carpentry, drywall, taping, tile, flooring, electrical, plumbing, etc.
  • Maintain a safe work environment
  • Assist other labourers
  • Support the Construction Supervisor as required
  • Experience in taping is an asset

Requirements:


  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Great time management and problem solving skills
  • General knowledge of construction
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
  • Ability to work independently under mínimal supervision and works well with others
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints is an asset
  • Capable of working at heights and/or adverse conditions
  • Ability to perform tasks under all areas and aspects of construction projects in a safe and productive manner and under mínimal supervision
  • 2+ years of general construction experience
  • Comfortable using both power and hand tools
  • Willing to work in all kinds of weather conditions and buildings without heating and air conditioning
  • Committment to continual learning, team work and providing excellent customer service
  • Required certificates: WHMIS, First Aid, Working at Heights
  • Must have a valid driver's license and daily access to a vehicle
  • Willing to travel within an 70km radius of our service area

Salary:
$52,000.00-$62,400.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime
  • Weekends as needed
