    About the opportunity?

    The HSE Professional will partner with all areas of our organization to lead critical projects and initiatives for the region. As part of a multifunctional team, the successful candidate will work closely with plant teams and leadership to develop new insightful solutions to daily issues and mitigate risk.


    Your tasks will include:

    • Lead regional projects and initiatives.
    • Provide on-site support for all regional sites, including end of the month reporting, Incident Investigations and Root Cause Analysis.
    • Champion regional health initiatives.
    • Manage Worker's Compensation Program
    • Monitor and ensure legal compliance, identifying gaps and developing appropriate policies, while partnering with the local sites to eliminate the potential opportunities.
    • Must be willing to be actively engaged at locations throughout US and Mexico to drive transformation and live the safety culture.
    • Align with global and regional resources, both internal and external to the company, to utilize outside expertise and new pilot programs.
    • Educate and help continue to develop H&S knowledge within the manufacturing plants.
    • Gives timely response to internal and external customers. Clearly communicates with team members through face-to-face meetings, phone, email, and other written correspondence.


    About you:

    In addition, you have:

    • 3 years or the equivalent of Health and Safety Experience in manufacturing or related industries
    • Experience facilitating critical conversations to develop win/win solutions in high stress, fast paced and complex structures.
    • Knowledge of Workers Compensation program management
    • Able to build relationships inside and outside of the company
    • Microsoft Office Word Excel PowerPoint
