Responsibilities:


  • Greet guests courteously as they arrive and offer coat check services.
  • Receive coats, bags, and other personal items from guests and issue claim tickets.
  • Safely store guests' belongings in designated areas, ensuring they are organized and easily retrievable.
  • Maintain accurate records of items checked in and out, including guest information and any special instructions.
  • Monitor the coat check area to ensure security and prevent theft or loss of items.
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with retrieving their belongings promptly and courteously.
  • Answer any questions guests may have about the coat check process or other services offered by the establishment.
  • Keep the coat check area clean and organized, including regular tidying and occasional vacuuming.
  • Adhere to all relevant safety and security procedures, including handling lost and found items according to established protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the coat check service.

Qualifications:


  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and helpful demeanor.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling guests' belongings and maintaining records.
  • Basic math skills for processing payments and calculating fees.
  • Physical stamina for standing and moving for extended periods, as well as lifting and carrying coats and bags.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor, with a neat and tidy appearance.
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality roles preferred, but not always required.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
