JOB PURPOSE

To work in accordance with established quality procedures and ensure proper materials are prepared for use in production with proper identification and lot management.

Recording lot information throughout the process and performing any duties as requested by the supervisor.


DUTIES
& RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive materials/boxes/skids and unloading trucks, performing receiving inspections, documenting results, and labeling products as per instructions
  • Update ERP inventory system as material is moved and used
  • Planning and completing calculations to ensure material is ready for production when it is required working alongside the scheduler to understand material needs and having it ready in time for use
  • Maintain material levels in silos, surge bins, and driers to ensure production can continually run according to schedule
  • Clean loaders, driers, and surge bins with attention to detail, avoiding contamination to ensure a successful material changeover
  • Safely move product within the facility using different methods, including a forklift
  • Perform forklift inspections as required
  • Complete quality documentation
  • Promote MPC's core values and actively contribute to a positive and rewarding team environment

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 1 year of factory experience
  • Basic familiarity with an ERP system
  • Forklift Operator Certification
  • Basic working knowledge of English, both verbal and written
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Ability to safely carry loads up to 50 lbs
