Nu Edge Construction Ltd. is currently hiring a
Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician. This role would be joining
Nu Edge Construction Ltd.
's workforce as a valuable colleague

The position will be based out of Edmonton and will require the ability to run a field service truck.

Off Road service experience is mandatory.

What you do:

Ability to diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems and electrical systems
Repair, adjust, test, and maintain a variety of heavy equipment
Familiarity with tracked and wheeled offroad equipment (dozers, scrapers, excavators, packers, graders, and rock trucks)
Estimate the resources and materials to efficiently maintain fleet
Complete preventative maintenance checks and diagnostic work on equipment
Experience with highway truck and trailer units
Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract
Local to Edmonton or surrounding area

What background and skills qualify you:

Registered Red Seal Certification as a Heay Equipment Technician (HET)
Extensive experience with John Deere, Caterpillar, and Volvo
Preferably two years of experience as Journeyman
Must be dependable and reliable
Committed to safety using occupational health and safety procedures
Ability to work independently
Maintain a clean and safe work area
