AJ Reno is looking for an
EXPERIENCED, energized, motivated and hard-working individual willing to work
FULL-TIME (During the day and/or weekend) with the team.

Responsibilities:

• Exceeding clients expectations delivering a high quality paint job and a high quality client experience.
• Ensure attention to detail and keen sense of safeguarding other people's property
• Ensuring that each step throughout the project is completed with precision.
• Proactively communicate job site conditions and concerns that may, or are affecting completion of job to the CEO.
• Properly prepare surfaces before painting; Prep, sand and spreads drop cloths over floors and room furnishings and covers surfaces such as baseboards, door frames, and windows with masking tape and paper to protect surfaces during painting
• Smooth surfaces and removes old paint from surfaces to prepare them for painting
• Fills nail holes, cracks, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster, or other fillers
• Repair drywall when needed
• Removes fixtures such as pictures and electric switch covers from walls prior to painting
• Paints surfaces with brushes or paint rollers
• Uses scaffolding or sets up ladders to perform tasks above ground level
• Cleans job site and equipment as required
• Work under time constraints to meet specific timelines
• Responsible for own transportation to and from job sites (Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo, Guelph, Elora)
• Responsible for steeltoed boots
• Must be reliable, trustworthy and able to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Basic skills in construction. Experience in painting, drywalling, mud and tape is an asset.
• Demonstrate tenacity; ability to put your head down, push through and get a job done.

Required Experience: 3+ years with the above

Physical Demands

• Frequent lifting from 540 lbs, unassisted
• Occasional lifting from 41 lbs +, assisted
• Access and mobility in tight spaces
• Working at Heights over 5 feet, periodically
• Sustained periods of standing, sitting, walking, bending, and kneeling

$18.00-$28.00 per hour
