Job Posting - HR Generalist

Responsibilities:


  • Monitors external changes to labour legislation and Workplace Safety and Health legislation, identifies deficiencies for compliance and guides management to ensure compliance.
  • Ensure that all individuals receive fair and equitable treatment
  • Process internal and external job posting
  • Oversees the full recruitment cycle of new staff including but not limited to interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and preparing workstation, etc.
  • Provides guidance and leadership in all areas of personnel management, including employee development/disciplinary process up to and including termination.
  • Development, updating, and communication of company policies and procedures
  • Work with supervisors to ensure all issues related to the disciplinary process, grievances and general labour relations are consistent with the Dimatec Employee Association Collective Agreement, Labour Legislation, and Safety and Health Legislation
  • Participates as a member of the Health and Safety Committee
  • Facilitates communications throughout the organization
  • Coordination of training and development programs including organizing appropriate training resources and, in some instances, deliver the training.
  • Administration of employee benefits
  • Develop and assist with administering employee performance reviews
  • Provides holiday and sick coverage for administration staff

Qualifications:


  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Human Resources, ideally in manufacturing/production environment
  • Experience with Employee Association Agreements
  • Experience in recruitment and selection process at all levels
  • Solid knowledge and expertise of relevant legislation and labour laws
  • Experience in health and safety processes and legislation
  • Tech savvy
